Dear Friends,
As I told you lot of times in this blog, I’m currently attending a master BI degree here in Portugal. But I also was seeking for BI masters not only in Portugal, but also in UK. Following a request of my friend Amin, I’m writing today about the research I made before start my master degree.
In Portugal, ISCTE University is the winner for BI master degrees, perhaps in UK there are several candidates, and probably will be someone that disagree with me, but I hope to receive some feedback from you.
First of all you have a website that could be your first step to begin your research! The website is www.findamasters.com and has thousands of masters to see. Second, you must visit the website of British Council, http://www.britishcouncil.org/learning-study-in-the-uk.htm?mtklink=corpo
I’m very impressed with the organization of some universities in UK. It was a surprised for me the possibility of take the master degree by distance and to visit the University in the open days!
If you are outside UK and cannot stay much time there, you can take the master on your country by a specific web platform and with an instructor exclusive for you. The main disadvantages are the price, that is higher, and the time to take the master is the double of the normal one!!! But you could conciliate the master with a part-time job!
I selected the universities that you should take a look and see the master contents and the respective prospectus.

My friend subhash, we know that you attended your master degree in Greenwich University, so please give us some feedback about it, ok? eheheh...
And a curiosity, if someone are interested, it was here http://www.newman.ac.uk that I finished my degree some years ago in Birmingham (UK), at NewMan College on Socrates European Program!
If someone could send some feedback I will appreciate, because maybe I will return to UK soon…
Regards!!

Hi Amin,
Take a look to the links that I inserted in the post. And tell me what you think and tell me if you are thinking to leave Iran to UK...
Cheers!!!

Dear Pedro,
Life at Greenwich Indeed was most memorable part of my life. Very Peaceful, Calm and Soothing environment will add to the freshness of your mind. You will enjoy a lot too.. When it comes to Teaching, it still need a lot of improvement - quality is not the best you can expect. We need to manage everything by ourselves and cannot depend on Lecturers. I think it depends on how we make use of the time during our studies..
My great wish was to study at University of London or at Oxford Brookes University. However I got contentment during study at Greenwich..
Hi Subhash,
Thanks a lot for your post!
Could you give us the link from Oxford and London University that has the courses you wish to attend?!
Thanks!!
Pedro
Dear Amin,
I will post some job offers from UK for people like us. Of course we must have some good experience, but the offers are higher!! I'm sure wont be dificult to find a good job to conciliate with the master. Try to contact directly the universities, and the british council in your country. Probably you could have some advantages as a foreign student! keep in touch!! :-)
Regards!!
Pedro,
You caught me there.. The problem why I didn't choose the MSc Course at Oxford Brookes university was that it didn't have an advanced as well as focussed curriculum. Moreover the fee for any course in GBP 10,000 above which I could n't really afford.
Thanks
Subhash Subramanyam
ooohoohh.... 10.000 GBP..?
In euros is about 15.000!!Is really to expensive!! :-(
Thanks Subhash!!!
Pedro

I realized that students can work 20 houres per week, I like to know how much can a student recieve during a month and what is the amount of salary?
Maybe, I 'll look to find some scolarship.
